Stage Presence - 10

Sound - 9.5

Crowd Response - 10

This year, I was fortunate enough to cover MxPx’s 2012 “All or Nothing” tour. This line-up also featured Unwritten Law, Versus The World and FLF. “All or Nothing” is an East coast tour that started in October and closes at the end of November.

MxPx played a full set on November 3rd, 2012, consisting of the tracks you’d expect: Move to Bremerton, Punk Rawk Show, some new tracks, and a few requests from the crowd. There was also an acoustic segment during the show, which ultimately lead to the crowd pre-celebrating Mike Herrera’s birthday.

All in all, they guys had a tight sound, and an excellent stage presence. The crowd was nice and rowdy as you’d expect from this show’s line up. Guitar and frontman Jose of FLF also played with MxPx for the majority of their set. Also, unexpectedly, bassist of Unwritten Law also came out and sang a song with the guys.

Towards the end of their set, fans were left begging for more and were somewhat invited to hop on stage and sing with the band.

To summarize, it was a fast-paced show with a lot of awesome crowd participation.
Head out to your local tour date to ensure you keep the underground music scene going!
